Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties
TV Markíza is looking for an experienced candidate who will provide technical services and support for all departments within the company. We are looking for a professional with friendly and positive mindset and approach and who will be able to work in demanding situations. A proactive and customer-friendly approach to problem solving situations is a must.

Possibility to work freelance or full-time.

  • IT services to support internal users
  • Responding to IT enquiries in all service aspects (incident and problem reports, technical issues)
  • Active and regular communication with internal users to understand IT needs and to ensure all requirements
  • Support of users and administration of HW, SW, business applications, VPN connections, etc. for end users
  • Installing computer peripherals in accordance with vendor-supplied installation instructions and performs diagnostic testing and checkouts
  • Maintaining and upgrades PC-based hardware, peripheral equipment, and software applications
  • Providing on-site or remote technical support to end users
  • Creating a list of frequently asked questions
  • Monitoring and solving problems with IT System Administrators relating to routine operational issues including failures
  • Participating in IT projects

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position
Secondary with school-leaving examination

Language skills
English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

  • Secondary education in technical/IT area
  • At least 3 years of work experience as Infrastructure Engineer, IT Administrator, IT Help desk or a similar position
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft desktop products
  • Good knowledge of PC’s architecture and peripherals

Other Skills

  • Good level of English language – B2
